I am very new to running, not quite ready to run in the fells, but i will get there eventually...

I wonder if anyone wants to sponsor the Fat Girl Running for the 5k?

Thank you to the people who have sponsored me its much appreciated, i hope you read the page, i cannot actually run the race, i have to walk it, maybe close to the finishing line i can run it, but i have been advised by my doctor, not to run.

Having an suspected bleeding ulcer kind of stops all the ideas of running etc...

I am having a endoscopy on Monday 15th, being sedated bit worried about it, but i am sure i shall be fine!

*if you notice fra much quieter on Monday you will now know why!*

    Hello All

Just want to again thank everyone that have sponsored me, its really appreciated!!!

£148 in all, so really pleased.

Was advised by my doctor not to do this race, but as i am not allowed to run, i am going to do this but walk.

If it takes me an hour or longer, it will be worth the pain of knowing with your sponsors, its helped Cancer Research.

I am going to this event on my own, family are busy cos its Father's Day, and my friends well all busy too, so if your in Heaton Park, look out for NirvanaBliss written on a Tshirt.

    Thanks again x

Well i did it! first race i have ever done.

My sister did the morning race and she did it in the exact time has i did, her friends did it in 1 hour 10 mins.

I had to leave my car a mile a way, it was heavy rain, got there soaked, had to wait for 30 mins for it to stop, then we did 1 hour of aerobics, then we started the race, due to illness i had to walk it, but i put a good fast walk on until i got to the hills, bloody killers, not to you lot, a walk in your sleep! to the unfit, unwell it was a hard hill!

Thanks to Pilgrim at the end for coming to watch me finish.

I did it in 52 minutes!

Thanks for all the lovely texts, low on credit after sending out 30 texts when i got home! x
