    mmm...must admit that once you get into it, the stinging pain from salt baths and germolene new skin gets quite pleasant and strangely addictive

    I'll echo the compede praises. Really recommend you get on stuck on it for your next event - even if you've healed up by then - it's a worthy precaution. They may seem expensive but they're worth it! Good luck

    Just a quick one, I found zinc oxide tape stays put much better than micropore. This kind of stuff: http://www.return2fitness.co.uk/Stra.../mcdavidtape25. Utterly non stretchy though.

    well I got round the Edale Skyline

    my compeed, tape and second skin were wonderfull for about six miles,

    I guess that the extreme foot movement and consequent friction of fell running, immersion in peat bog etc is a bit too much for removeable adhesive technology
