I'm running for Rossy..I'll justify my place by snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again.
I thing we may struggle to qualify for the Brummy burn-up , its a great day out though, great experience most runners would enjoy.

I'm in the BBH B Team on a Long Leg by the looks of it.

No Ben Fish (Paris Marathon) or Tom Cornthwaite (overseas hols I think) so we'll not be featuring too close to the front.

We'll be happy with top 10 for A team - and Top 30 for B team.

It's got to be Leeds surely.

I'll go for Liverpool Harriers to be best of the rest!

Hope the NoE have learnt from Catterick last year and will have correct maps and knowledgeable marshalls in place!

I know what you mean Stagger - but could you imagine a 12 stage Fell Relay of the Half Tour of Pendle?
It will take long enough as it is!

There's bit of climb in of though - Bashir's home turf - you could have reccied it last week

Leeds to absolutely ROMP it from what ive been told their team is, or rather who is in their B team.

then the 2 other medalists to come from Trafford, Sale, Liverpool (same as last year)

Leeds B to make top 10, Hallamshire, Bburn, Derby, Bingley in there as well.

our B team to make top 25 and actually qualify properly for National 12 stage this year and us to finish a C team.

im gonna stick my neck out and say we have a similar strength team/ if not slightly stronger than last year but still with a few missing, i think we can push liverpool all the way if not pip them for 2nd place.

It doesn't seem to matter what your "target" number of runners is - you always seem to struggle with the last slot.
We had 31 last year - 23 confirmed for this weekend at the moment - few irons in the fire for the B team so fingers crossed.

we always used to have this problem until about 3 years ago, always had a pretty good squad but never really got everyone out, these last 2 years we've really started believe we can do something so everyone has had it in their mind that we can do well if we turn out, maybe if you get people who really want to race to persuade people? that's what we've found to work, especially on people who would rather do a short but for the team would be better on a long.
