What Bike?

The Gentlemans Fell Running, Cycling and Epicurean Adventure sets off on the 6/7 July. Slightly amended route/schedule will hopefully allow a completion even if we won't be going past Moleys House.
We successfully answered the What Bike question last year. i.e. Fast road bike but with gearing set for some serious climbs.

Taken the first steps today, gone to Shrewsbury and purchased a pair of 'go faster' bike shoes and pedals and stuff. Just have to fix it all together and wait for some lighter evenings or decent weekend weather to start proper bike training again.
Also bought a pukka cycling shirt (30% off, as it's last years colours ). It has a proper pocket on the back to put my hip flask in - thoughtfull of them .
