    It's the same day as Rivington Pike race I'm sure some will be undecided which one to do

    Its got to be Pendle, a classic up and downer. Excellent pub in village, what more do you need.
    After climbing a great hill one only finds that there are many more hills to climb ......

    Rivington Pike is also a classic, it goes up and down, and registration is in a pub.

    The Rivington pike race will be my first race back, finally getting over my ankle injury........ can't wait!!

    Pendle for me without doubt - despite the fact that I've spent most of the winter training there on Tuesday nights!!
    This race is my favourite route on Pendle - short, fast with not much flat running. Just a shame my preparation has been hampered by my first cold/chest infection for 2 yrs. Still - recuperation is still quicker than the injuries of the last 2/3 yrs.
