Can't believe there has been nothing on this thread for 2 years on an iconic fell race.
I'm off to watch. Legs papped today after a 4 mile run and 14 mile walk yesterday topping 2000ft.
But young WPette is having her first race since having her youngster 7 months ago, her first race since Jan 2017.
I'm baby-sitting.
Best place for me now
She was first lady to the pike in 2011 at the age of 17 the day after the Salford 10km, just getting caught on the decent by two internationals to finish 3rd.
She'll probably be 5 minutes slower today, but it'll be nice to see her and everyone else compete today.

Good time by the winner Michael Cayton. He was second to the top behind Haworth of Matlock. Only nine Men running under 20 minutes. Sarah McCormack first lady and eleventh overall in a very fast 20.11.She was shifting! Must be comparable to Greenwood's record given changes to course.
