    Almost - you should be fine in roadies or trail shoes as the weather report is OK.

    But the top half can be tricky in the wet or snow which sometimes happens especially when Easter Saturday is early, so always have your fell shoes handy just in case!

    The difference in height between the start and finish is 700 feet according to Google Earth.

    Setting off shortly for darkest Lancashire. If it's like Alp d'Huez does that mean the spectators push you up the hill if you're struggling

    Enjoyed this no end this afternoon Nice to catch up with Swoop (socially, if not in the race!) and good to meet DazTheSlug and Pinno for the first time. Oh and thanks for the encouragement from Disco Stan, who quite rightly pointed out this was 'about 30miles too short for you mate'!
