    Scotland 10th-14th

I'm thinking of going to Scotland for some long runs around Black Mount-Ben Starav-Bridge of Orchy area if the weather looks ok. No definate plans yet but

Anyone fancy it. Has anyone been up there recently that knows what the conditions are like on the tops?

Not been up that far recently, little snow to speak of in southernmost hills(Ben Vorlich, Stuc a' Chroin) but maybe more further north, couple of links below that should give you some useful info:

Found it a useful site to check out when heading up the big hills.

    Only 10,000ft eh!!

I am alas at work on both the 10th and 11th and wouldn't be able to make the journey until the afternoon of the 12th on account of a social on the 11th

On a different note I should be off to mid wales in the next month or so, somewhere round Pumlumom - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/376159 - probably looking at similar sort of distances to you Scottish sojourn. Will let you know dates when I have them if your interested.

Supposed to be an MTB excursion but I have had the idea of running and using a second car to allow the MTB'ers to ride point to point

most of my weekend are now booked up with races but let me know. Scotland is looking dodgy at moment as the forcast is crap. I don't mind a 2 hour drive to get wet in Wales/lakes but 6 hours is well not worth it.

This Welsh trip may be a mid weeker yet.

Weather in the Lakes doesnt look so bad Sunday and Monday, wet on the Tuesday, what do you reckon to an early start from Sheffield Sunday morning? Cant take long too get to Kentmere?

And I have yet to run in the Lakes at all, apart from to the occasional pub and chip shop
