Just been plotting it on my memory maps but can't find all the extra trigs. Do you have the gr's for these. Looks like lots of road and fields to me

MM - are you still planning an attempt this year? or you have you already sneaked in a completion!

oh, and while I've got the fonts of all knowledge on here (MM & IDP) - does anybody know how High Neb makes it as one of the 15 Trigs, but Stanedge Pole doesn't?

Although Stanedge Pole has been used for surveying, and is marked as a trig point on the 1:25 000 OS map, it's not a purpose built trig point like the others, just a wooden pole that I think was a marker on an old packhorse route. It's not shown as a trig point on the 1:50 000 OS map, and I'd guess it's not shown as one on the race map from which the 15 trigs originated.

High Neb is your standard concrete trig pillar.

Ian will no doubt correct me if needed and add a load more information

I had hoped to have a go a few weeks ago but it was still a swamp on the weekends I set aside. Might consider it in Autumn if it dries out but expect it could be next year

Sorry IDP, been asleep. www.trigpointingUK.com will have the trigs but names may differ; click on trigtools and type in the name and you may get lucky if someone mentions an alternative name in a log.

I'll see if I can take a look later.

Road & fields - I'd guessed that might be the catch; PS being a self-confessed roadie.

If someone wants to let me have a schedule of white peak trig GR's - name/GR/height - I 'll be happy to add it to the gofar site in due course.

Can a run (by fell or bike) be constructed using the stoops in the Peak District?
