If anyone is interested myself and Duncs are planning a recce from Keswick to Dunmail on the 24th April if you would like to join us. Probably meet at Dunmail early doors then take 1 car to Keswick aim for about 8hrs running.

Hey, that's cheating. You have to leave your bike at Dunmail, then drive on to Keswick, run legs 1 & 2, and when you're completely knackered, cycle back to Keswick, and if anyone tells you it's all downhill from Dunmail, they're lying.

P.S. If you spot my overtrousers somewhere on Leg 1, please pick them up for me and let me know.

Im interested in a recce, Im not too sure on stringing both legs together but would definitely be interested in leg 1. Im then planning on camping in Wasdale over the weekend and early part of the next week for recces of the later legs if anyone else is interested in that...?

Helen that should be cool if you want to join us for one leg. Either we can sort picking you up from threlkeld or you could run the 3 miles back to Keswick down the old railway line.

Brilliant, thats all sounds good. Make it a mountain bike and you could have some fun! Ill travel up late on Thursday and camp somewhere round Keswick for an early start Friday! I have done leg 1 twice before but being on my own Ive had to do more of a circle from the Blencathra centre than 'the route' start and finish so that'll be great to do.
