Chris Packham shit his ticket with me the moment he got involved with that animal rights group. It was a big mistake for him, his clean media friendly image was shattered by the divisiveness of factionalism. I never saw him as an angry guy taking sides, but times change.

In other news, stop what you're doing at 9pm and turn to the budget friendly Sony movie channel for..........Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Gary Oldman in an extravagantly suspenseful and romantic depiction of the now legendary tale. Reeves passes me by a bit, but Oldman is awesome.

Don't scrap the BBC. All is forgiven.

I have just watched Top of the Pops - The Story of 1978.

A scary and brilliant watch at the same time.

All Creatures Great and Small is back on...BBC4 on thursday night. They all look so young. I didn't realise Tristan Farnan was such a cock.
Luke Appleyard (Wharfedale)- quick on the dissent

We've been without TV in our household since 2013.
    Good for our family life.

TV license here in Germany still compulsory I'm afraid.

Since the turn of the year we've binge watched all 8 series of the French crime drama Spiral (or Engrenages in France), watching the last episode last night. It's absolutely brilliant, and close possibly to being the best ever. Don't get me wrong, Line of Duty is okay but it gets fairly knocked into a cocked hat by Spiral

All seasons are still available on catch up, BBC4

Yep! All he needs to do to win is stay upright.
