    I've watched the first half.

I was rather hoping it would be a documentary following what happened on the climb/accident, so was initially a bit disappointed that everything was revealed quite early on. But it has been very good and i'll certainly watch the 2nd half tonight or tomorrow.

I've recorded it to watch at the weekend but if you enjoyed it and haven't seen the prequel, so to speak, 'Alison's Last Mountain' is on BBC2 on Thursday at 11:15pm.

Tonight at 7.30 on BBC 2 Iolo - The Last Wilderness Of Wales.

Iolo Williams visits the Elan Valley and Plynlimon. I wonder which brand of jacket he will be wearing?

    My money's on Mountain Equipment

It's been a good series. Especially enjoyed the outer Hebrides.

Youre not wrong there having covered most of the ground shown in the series on fooot and mostly wild camping, it has been great to re-live old memories and see things that i have missed and will need to go back to.

I'm losing my touch Marco. Iolo was wearing a The North Face gilet and a very nice Fjallraven jacket.

I saw a Golden Plover on Plynlimon this spring so they are thankfully still hanging on. Such a delicate and delightful bird.
