Wooooaaahhhhhhhhh.... Toffer, the Tony Robinson / Time Team of the Forum! Good bit of archaelogy, some fond memories brought to mind.

Just back from a weekend in Corris - Dominion was there along with a bunch of hardcore runners - not sure what I was doing, keeping such august company - but it highlighted the fact that, apart from Tom G's effort last August, not much else was accomplished - we need to get planning (over to you Toff!)

This is apparently an eye-witness drawing of the event, according to Mr V Van Gogh - presumably that's Toff in the white but I'm confused as to who the busty person in green is - could it be LOLA?

    Hurry back

I saw that too! He had a very fit warden with him!!
Toff has probably forgotten that we have been hatching an evil plan that will allow him to do something without overstressing his poorly hip. i.e. It is all bike-based (sorry Moley!)
The plan is to 'Box The Compass' which means to cycle to the most northerly, easterly, southerly and westerly corners of Wales in one go. I don't think its been done. Any takers??

    Re: The Dragons Back

Interesting - detailed on the OS Mapzone website - the points are roughly where you'd expect them - but also found:

Where is the centre of mainland Wales?
    A. The centre of mainland Wales is at grid reference SN 812 678 (3.5 km north-west of Claerwen Reservoir). More precisely, SN 81162 67795 to the nearest metre.

Now that would add a little extra challenge to it - or you could have four cyclists all setting off from here at the same time to the four corners and back again!!

Pants! Just been waving my crutch at my maps in attempt to get them off the top shelf, which I cannot currently reach.......so.......which is the most aesthetically pleasing route?
