But I did have a trot around it on Wednesday and had a little misadventure en route. Still can't believe what happened. I remember glancing at me watch and thinking, "Christ I'm slow today. I'm not even at Fairfield yet" Then I looked up and thought "Where's the rest of the Horseshoe gone? Then I looked behind me and there was Grisedale Tarn. I was on St Sunday bloody Crag wasn't I? I'd gone over Fairfield without realising it Another senior moment for the archives. This must get me at least a nomination for "Titheed of the Year" or something.

Nice to see stolly at the beginning too.
A good race, that climb just went on and on eh.
All good though, now for two weeks tapering (resting) before tackling duddon.

    Oh, Ber!!

Yes indeed - obviously had a senior moment when copying and pasting

    http://picasaweb.google.com/BobEWigh...oeFellRace2008 is the correct link.

Hope everyone finished OK, including the gentleman who appeared to have missed the turn at High Sweden Bridge and was running through Ambleside!

Never duddon it before, mate, looks easy on the dvd, sat on the sofa with a can of strongbow, watching the likes of Rob Jebb, Ian Holmes etc doing it
Bit of info i do know is there are two road crosssings, one at Hardknott and the other at Wrynose, i plan to have the wife and kids there to hand me water and nosh, so i don't have to carry it all, i expect to suffer like a dog and enjoy it, but i am a bit thick
