I know there are many others in a similar situation but if anyone has 2(yes 2!) spare numbers for Fairfield and is unable to run because of injury etc, please e-mail me on [email protected].

Copied from the Ambleside AC website..

As we have accepted a substantial number of entries over the 500 limit and because that number is above what the course and the venue can handle there will be no reserve list or substitutions for this race.

FOR ALL THOSE WITH NUMBERS OR WANTING TO WATCH, PLEASE USE THE FELL RACE PARKING ON THE FIELD.

Just found out that I am the ENFORCEMENT PARKING OFFICER!!!??!! to deter people from parking on the Rydal Hall Road or Rydal Hall grounds

So please park on the field and save me shouting.

    Re: Fairfield Horseshoe

A bit of feedback about parking - there were signs last year at Rydal saying no parking for the fell race, but nothing to day where to park. I'd you're travelling from the North there's nothing at Rydal advising you to keep going. As there may be a big turnout on Saturday a big sign at Rydal telling people where the parking is would be really helpful

Do I pressume that if we are Camping at Rydal Hall for the weekend and forms are being given out in car park that if I print my own out from the Fra website and bring it with us, that will do?
looking forward to the race, did a good recci on Monday :-)
