    If your names not on the start list your not running. ive had to withdraw due to injury and asked if I could transfer my entry to a club mate who wants to run, RO said NO transfers / substitutions or entry on the day NONE, NEVER, NO CHANCE, NOPE...

    Parking is very straightforward. from the north travel past Grasmere and along the side of Rydal water. Just after the sign for Ambleside cricket club on your right( parking is in the big field on your left) slow down and take the next left turning. Its basically Ambleside sports showfield and right on the main road, you cant miss it!

    Thats because theres a big reserve list who will get the firat call up (theres lots of people desperate to run it). Please dont give the RO a hard time for your mate not getting entry in on time. Hes doing a fantastic (unpaid- remember)job and has lost all his hair this week!

    Deffo no hard times given nor intended, they do a sterling job RO and MARSHALLS / HELPERS etc without them we have no race to run. sorry if ive missled anyone was led to believe there was no reserve list? (not by the RO I must add)

    Sprained my ankle at the Coiners race at Mytholmroyd on Monday. Just had my fitness test,ankle still a bit bruised and swollen but I'm running !
