Some numpty put his number on upside down.
In defence of no 056:
1. well at least he can read it.
2. No 056 obviously plans to cross the finish line in some style!

Still "Afloat in the stone heavings of emptiness"
am i the only person disappointed that they are wearing clothes?
A local race for me and people do give me funny look when I tell them I'm doing the Wrekin Streak .
I'd love to make fun of the guy with the up side down number but he was faster than me so I'll keep quiet .
Thanks Al some great Photos again . I've moved house recently and haven't had tinternet or the time to race or train . See you soon .

part of the Wrekin Streak's original charm was that in days gone by there was a Le-Mans style start where on the 'B of the Bang', everyone dashed from the line to the back of the registration van to get a number and pins, pin it on whilst struggling on up to the top. No. 056 is obviously a traditionalist
Shame I missed it, as I live very near to the Wrekin, but I've been up there twice this week and t'owd hill is bone-shatteringly hard underfoot at the moment so maybe my ankles are grateful for being spared. Carodoc Next?
Really enjoyed this race on Wednesday and was thrilled to come in in 22nd overall :-).
Can anyone explain to me how the scoring works for these series? I can see where the percentage on the results comes from but having looked at the overall rankings for the winter series and last summer's summer series I can't work out how the rankings for the overall series are worked out!
