    Edinbugh Marathon 31st May

Am having a go at this road marathon.
It will only be 6 weeks after my previous marathon but I dont feel i gave everything to that one so as long as i get the right mix of training and rest i should run under 2:50 this time

    Good luck.

Watch out for the gravelly hill at about 17 miles.

It's a good day out, but last year seemed to be into the wind for the whole route!

I have been told there will be no windy weather this year. Or is that I hope there will be no windy conditions?

I think I can seee where Freddie is coming from. I was surprised to find you were still going to run this after doing so well at FLM. I imagined you had pencilled it in in case London didnt go well.

However, I now imagine you are intent on doing just as much on the day as you need to to put on a good show rather than race flat out for another PB?

For myself, I ran Boston 6 days earlier than you ran London, and I ran my longest ever single day mileage just 3 days ago - all well documented on the forum .....

.......So how come nobody is asking ME if I am really doing Edinburgh?

I don't think I will be aiming for a pb. Infact, I know I wont be. Going for the crack of running a marathon in Edinburgh. It will be another country ticked off for racing a marathon in.
    England done
    Solvakia done
    Italy done
    Dublin unfinished!
    Edinburgh soon
India hopefully at the Commonwealth Games 2012!
