Never under estimate the power of the darkside of the fells.

Bump...can't believe no one has posted...

well it's tonight so if you are racing get there early, we're hoping it won't be quite as busy as usual but it's a nice evening so you never know.

I'm on sweep so get a move on, infact I'll be there early for a pre race run round the course.

I'll have some ale if any one sees me.

What a great race that was. A course with a bit of everything, including a crazy start. I especially loved the safety briefing: "This is a fell race. Try not to hurt yourselves".

    Thanks to all concerned.

the big gap between 1st and 2nd was due to three runners who "were" 2nd,3rd,4th being disq for missing a bit of the course saving them selves around 200m and a bit of climbing, It was purely a nav error and the fact they were running too fast to read a map...

Were they the runners that went up to the main path under the crag from the river?

Looks like a new course record by Mr Jones, well done young Sir *doffs cap*

Thanks to the RO and all the marshals for another great race last night. I really enjoy this one, it's got a bit of everything.
