My kids are gutted that Numby didn't take the trophy after carefully selecting it for him in Egypt 4 years ago. Shame he's leaving, he's been good company in the years I've known him.

Just working on the results now......
Sorry Darth to have missed BS this year, had to finish fixin the roof and tidy up Shiney Shackville after hosting a rampant bunch of wedding guests......the rest is her/history..!

    Burbage Skyline

Downfall last week and the Burbage Skyline next

    Two of my favorites

Tue 12th 7:30pm 5.75m/1200ft Registration at Fox House Inn

£3 on the day. GR SK267803
    Route notes

Darth of the DS could do with some extra help with marshalling if any one is going to watch.

    See you all there.

Ian - no more advertising please. It took me & Padomay 4 hours to do the results last year!

    It's all over now...
So, just to say another big thank-you..
To Darth & the very talented crew........
Who make this one of the truly best ever evening fell races ..

In a word this eve was perfect..
    Amazing light, harsh easterly wind...
Ace organisation, brilliant & entertaining marshals...
Super course, no hiding place & plenty of tactics !!!!

    And all for 3 squid......

    Thanks again...
(more of the same in Hayfield this weekend - but, that's another thread)

    Re: Burbage Skyline

First race for 7 weeks, and boy, did it show!

Wonderful evening, excellent race. Thanks to Darth & his team - especially thanks for trying to give me a prize that should have gone to Rocket Ron!

Good to see so many younger runners there - must have been half of Sheffield Uni taking part.

it was mentioned at the start that this was part of a new 5 race series - what are the other races?

    pabc,

Here are the details of the series. It was originally going to be three, but Accelarate have had fruitful discussions with a couple more race organisers this week, so its gone up to five hence full details are only just emerging.

Thanks for the kind words about the race - it makes it all worth while.

Andy - I was disappointed not to be racing to give you a run for your money, but did you notice a young gentleman in a Totley vest finishing just behind you?

    Regards, D'arth

There were entry forms for the series at registration with all the details. But, er, I've forgotten what they were.

I'm sure Darth will be along soon to tell us all. (As soon as he's finished typing up the results, of course).

    Addendum:
Oh, only just noticed he beat me to it!!
