Thread: Most clubs?

    Most clubs?

An ex clubmate of mine, Eddie Simpson, is now with Barrow & Furness Striders. By my reckoning this is the ninth time he has changed clubs. Does anybody know if this is a record?

From memory his clubs have been - Copeland, Bingley, Border Harriers, Lancaster & Morecambe, Preston Harriers, Border Harriers again, Lancaster & Morecambe again, Salford, Dallam and Barrow & Furness Striders

What do you mean "probably" Fell Ponies? I know membership is a bit vague, but people generally remember something about it.
Here's a simple test if you're still unsure: if you've got a Pony vest, then you are, or have been, a Pony. If you haven't, you could still be a Pony if you have the Pony attitude. If you don't know what the attitude is, you're probably not one yet, though time is on your side.
    Does that clear matters up?

At the finish of last nights road race the fella that sorts entrys for the MMM came up to me (in my pony vest) and said "bloody hell, does that club really exist?!!. I said, cough, retch, cough, yes, cough, retch, AND I'M ONE OF THEM!
