    Calf Problem

I have been having a problem with my calf for about the last 3 weeks, After about 30 mins on fells it starts to feel like it is really tight but i dont feel no pain are pulling but i can run on the road for about 50 mins before i feel anything and the weird thing is that i only feel it in training and it does not affect me in races, I have been warming up and stretching and cooling down so i dont think it is that which i thought it could of been

Has anybody got any ideas are suggestions how to get rid of it??
The race does not always go to the swift, but to the ones who keep running

    Re: Calf Problem

Disregard my comments on that thread, I am now 4 weeks into my torn calf and back where I started . I can cycle on it, I can walk and shuffle on it for 5 hours, but run - no chance.
Trying to see the physio, which I should have done 4 weeks ago
Don't roll with a pig in poo. You get covered in poo and the pig likes it.

Seeing physio tomorrow . Wish me luck, she scares the s**t out of me and says silly things like "no running" . Which is why I hardly ever go to see her.

    molehill,

The statement 'NO RUNNING' makes sense when you have an injury honest (but that doesn't mean I would adhere to my own advice )

    onward and upwards

wot type of training have you been doing? this may seem like a dumb question but if it's like the stuff i saw you doing the other week

e.g. 1 x 400 followed by 20 minutes of chat up lines foloowed by quick sprint? or were you at an advanced level?
    penguins happy feet :w00t:
