    here's the blurb..

2007 Scott Contessa Scale Mountain Bicycle The Scott Contessa Scale is a hardtail mountain bike that comes with an excellent component set and great frame design. This is a lightweight bike that's fun to ride, it is a willing climber that wont kill you on the descents. Scott Scale Carbon frame constructed with CR1 technology RockShox Reba SL 80mm travel fork Shimano XT front derailleur, XTR rear derailleur Shimano XT Rapid Fire Plus 2 shifters Shimano XT 160 mm disc brakes with XT Levers Shimano XT Hollowtech 244x32x22t crankset Shimano XT 11-32t cassette Shimano PD-M520 Clipless pedals Fizik Vitesse HP Saddle DT Swiss XR1 rims laced to XR1 rims with XR1 spokes Weight(claimed): 22lbs

It was very expensive to buy, especially given I've hardly ridden it but am open to 'sensible' offers

Cheers Ant, you don't want to buy a present for the Mrs then?? I'm sure she'd make a better map reader than me and the D&W events!!

I got paid in bike from a client and got a Hardrock pro for the wife so timing is bad. I did show her yours and she did want it but I am sure it is too much bike for her at the moment.

Second the Singletrack suggestion. Often people looking for lady bikes.
