I need to catch an 11.40 train from Lancaster on the Sunday morning after Duddon, so if anyone's driving that way at that time, I'd be grateful of a lift.

Can give you a lift saturday from Duddon to Lancaster/Preston after the race?? you never know it may be hoofing down and you want to get home!!! I'm guessing you've already booked your train tickets?

as it happens, I probably won't have to get that specific train after-all so a lift to Lancaster at any time would be much appreciated ...
just giving this a wee bump, mr monkeynut is having some mechanical problems ...
