    Today's Movie

Have we had a 'Todays Movie' thread before - could only find 'Favourite Movies'??

Anyway... Frost/Nixon on DVD. Been waiting ages for it to come out. Pizza in the oven, wine being chilled. Review later.

Wasn't there a thread called something like 'Movie critic required'?

Picked up Jarhead in Asda last week for £2. Not watched yet, but looking forward to it: I've heard good things.

I watched Quantum Of Solace(James Bond) on Sky. It was as bad as the Bourne saga, with the same dizzying display of camera work, and the usual car and boat chase rubbish.

It goes something like this, Bond gets chased in his car. Stops. Has a chat with M for 5minutes. Then has a scrap. Then has a bang, bang, bang with his gun. Then chases the bad guy around, whilst hung upside down with his foot in a noose. Then he has another calm 5minutes, followed by a chase in a wooden boat. And the needle returns to.......and we all sing.......like before

Shame because Craig is a good actor wasted in a part that has no identity.

P.S Don't know what Emm was going on about!

The Social Network - I thought I would like it when I found out Aaron Sorkin did the screenplay and I wasn't disappointed. Justin Timberlake can actually act a bit as well

I watched the first half hour of Prince of Persia the other night. I'll try to sum it up in a film critic stylee

"The best character development since Scooby Doo"
"If you only watch one film this year with your eyes and ears covered, this is the one"
    "Missable"
    "Unbearable for the whole family"

    Good review Noel

I watched inception last night, don't know what everybody has been banging on about. I was expecting to be thoroughly confused but followed it pretty easily. It's more complicated to try and explain it to somebody than watch it, I did enjoy it though. Very good film
