Thanks...One year older and hopefully one year wiser.
Ran my first 30km road race on sunday....Felt good, even with the last 10km being rolling hills ( speed bumpes to you fell runners, i'm sure). The last hill at the 28km mark was over a km long, I thought I was going to die...But I made it at 3hrs 9min ( turtle time to most but I crossed the finish line with no assistance which was a goal!).

Well done, with covering that sort of distance, a few English hills won't phase you!!

Thank you. The hardest part was the last 10km...ALL rolling hills. The last hill was over 1km winding around a hill that over looks Hamilton Bay, gorgeous sight but a hard run.
