Someone at work stopped returning my calls and emails 2 weeks ago. His office is its usual mess and there's no 'out of office' message on his emails. He just vanished.

I found out today that he "came into some money", bought some land in Scotland, got on his motorbike and went. That's it. No goodbyes. Nothing.

There is a local firm down the road where a sydicate of workers won several hundred grand each at the back end of last year. Saw an article in the local paper tonight and apparantly not one of them has left...................
