Hot day today with a long slow climb and just when you can't run any more some one sits down and starts taking pictures of you.....
Thanks Gordon and Co
Fantastic descent but not good for my knees. Good to catch up with so many friends I havent seen for a long while.
Thanks to Des and Co for standing around on a dry moor with blue sky and a warm sun...it must have been hell
a reet bobby dazzler to test the legs at the end of Des's 3 day series! great conditions for it too. cheers Des

Superb pictures, Gordon. Thank you.
Well, wasn't it dry out there. They'll be screaming drought and high fire risk soon.
Barny, great to do battle with you again. If only I had eyes in the back of my head to see you chasing me down to the line I might have put in a micro-mini more whatsit into the sick-inducing effort of the last gasp to you-know-what. :w00t:
I took a few pics, uploaded here.
took some photos of runners ascending at the James Thorn fell race May 2014, sorry for delay in uploading

Don't forget, it's the Glossop 3 Day Running Festival this weekend. Starts on Saturday with Chunal, then a 5k road race on Sunday, finishing with this one (James' Thorn) on Bank Holiday Monday.
See you back in Glossop very soon. In the meantime here are yesterday's Moorfield 5k photos.
15 y.o. Alex Jackson of Stockport Harriers pulled off a fantastic win for the third year running. He had some stiff competition this year too.
Cracking little race, I can't decide what was the more enjoyable...the race or Des's prize giving ??
Cheers to all involved.
