    The most expensive mars bar

I ran the 10 mile Lune valley race at Sedbergh last Sunday for several reasons
1, it advertised food and refreshments free for every runner
2,It was a club championship race
3,It was nearer to get to than Skiddaw and I had had a hard day in the Lakes on Saturday reccing borrowdale
although it was £12 entry (expensive) there was the promise of free food afterwards
YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW HACKED OFF I WAS TO FIND OUT THAT THE FREE FOOD WAS A BL**DY MARS BAR ESPECIALLY AS I TOOK NO FOOD WITH ME TO THE RACE?????

Sounds suspiciously like the Helvellyn trail race I ran last year at £18 or thereabouts (might have been £17).......

I was sure that all finishers were promised a goodie back......instead we got access to download a free pic of ourselves running and it was no better quality than the kind which many forumited post online for free to view

Did club charity hill climb last Thursday - 3 quid, with free supper in pub and won a bottle of Landlord in the raffle. Gala race at Oakworth last Saturday same price and a group of us got a load of home-made cakes for a quid
