I might just bloody well do this... hmmm
In your Bram's? I'm thinking of doing it :-)
no probably in X-Talons, I'm suffering from a bit of stone bruising at the moment and a tightish right arch, all of which I'm putting down to upping my barefoot mileage too soon so I'm cutting back a bit and letting that settle down, will enter some long distance stuff next year in the vibrams hopefully!
Looking forward to this one, should be a nice day too
Probably wont be smiling at the end though
I shall be doing it with my OMM sac at full OMM weight as a training run!
Not sure whether to stop at bottom of PYGF and knock up a brew or not!

Damn, Wheeze is cooking up a brew and I won't be there this year
I will be on my way to Yorkshire for Three Peaks Cyclocross on Sunday...
Good luck everyone and enjoy! It is my fave race...

Wearing an OMM sac at full weight is a guaranteed way to ruin a nice day out at a race!!
Mindyou, its not all bad. Wanted to get within 30 mins of last years time and was actually only 45 mins slower...it felt like a loooot more!
Beautiful day. Gorgeous views.
And yes, I went off MUCH too fast!
But I was enjoying myself, using LK to continually get back in front of other runners until major, huge, ginormous bonkeroo of PYGF...where else?
Nearly chucked it in a Grwyne but dug in and got home...just.
The OMM will be SLOW!!!!

Great Race and thanks to the organisers for booking the weather - mind you I was in bits at the end as I thought that about 1200ml of water would have been ample but ran out with about 5 miles still to go - ended up drinking the sweat running down my face - nice!
Pleased to meet you wheeze - I was a bit gutted to find someone with full OMM pack in front of me at one point! , Pen - Y Gadair soon sorted that out though!
Was there a right or wrong way up there or is it anyone's guess? - I went left and struggled with the heather nearly all the way up but maybe it was like that all the way along?
Left is good...you just need to stay in the left hand stream bed and aim at the rocky outcrop near the top.
Nice to meet you MB even if I was not up to talking too much!
Any other forumites there? Was caveman about??
