    Yep, I was there, struggled in at 3:34 without my OMM pack, but it was still great traiing for the OMM. Probably went off too hard as really suffered in last hour or so and was quite ill last night.
    I've been doing more long slow stuff this year so just couldn't maintain the pace for so long
    Again, should have had a bit more fluids on such a hot day but "enjoyed" it anyway. A real tough race
    Look forward to seeing results some day

    I was there too. My first time for this race. I really enjoyed it, good tough course, some excellent ridges, and amazing views with the weather as nice as it turned out.

    Found myself on my own for the later stages of the race, and I was grateful to the Bal Mawr checkpoint marshall, especially, for pointing me in the right direction. Had to resort to map reading though on the climb up through the forest towards Crug Mawr!
