Anyone done this race in the past? I'm thinking of doing it this weekend but never run in that area before. Is the race mostly on trails?

Plenty of star Olympian athletes at today's Push! Winner was Malaysia's Mark Williams, Willem van Proojien from the Netherlands had an excellent race too! No flags were flown upside down and the dog show was great. I'm sure Alastair and Peter D will have their wonderful photographic evidence available soon of this marvellous day out!

Nice warm race today. Mark Williams won again three days after coming here on holiday from Kuala Lumpur. Ed Loffil went haring off and he looked like a sure fire winner, Jez Brown looked likely to chase him down but both went wrong. Lisa Grantham caught me up before the final climb to the Pincyn and won the ladies handsomely. Local runner Eddie Naisby, first over 85 in the Chester half marathon a few weeks ago with the best time in the UK this year for his age, met us at the top with splendid encouragement.

This is a lovely low key race from a village show - lots of vintage tractors, dog shows, etc for all the family. Well done Neil for a well organised race. Come next year!!
