    Herod Farm Hill race

    Hi All

The Herod Farm Hill Race organised by Glossopdale Harriers will be back to a Wednesday night this year, 25th of April. This year the prize will be another Limited Edition Mug (to compliment the one the Club did for 'The Shelf Moor').

This is a great, surprisingly hard fell race. If you don't win a mug you will still be able to purcase one on the night.

    Hope to see you there . . . .

Don't forget this little gem of a race this Wednesday night from the Drovers Pub in Glossop (full details in the FRA Calendar).

Just the tonic for weary legs after Paddy's Pole, or the Anniversary Waltz or even both of these!

    Hope to see you there!

Thanks for the tip off - I'm working in Manchester this week so I think I'll head over to get rid of some stress.

Speaks very highly of the Shelf Moor mug, it does: "what a beautiful mug you are me old china, most fetching in all your ceramic glory you are, and a credit to The good Doctor and the Harriers!"

I can highly recommend this race too. Organised by my club - Glossopdale Harriers - although I will be running.

Dont underestimate this course, it may only be a tad over three miles but with 2 steep climbs and 1100 feet of climbing you will know about it at the end.

Hope to see some of you tommorrow - Registration at 7.00pm next to the Drovers Arms

Yes it's a good 'un. Last climb is a cracker and the final run back onto the tarmac has seen one or two casualties over the last couple of years .

RoadRunner - I have heard on the grapevine that you may turn up for this, even though you may not run.

We have something special for you should you be there

This was going to be part of our club's championship but it has been changed to a ROAD race. That's PANTS. Still a great club though! Will be attending Herod Farm along with a few other fellies. Saw the famous SWOOP today. Looks just like his picture.
