Regrettably not, Saturday went fairly badly for me so I'm having to rest before running again Wednesday. Booked in with Physio Friday as this intermittent running schedule I've been forced into last couple of weeks simply won't do.

It was all going so well up until post Grindleford Gallop!

Have a good un mate dunno what the grounds like but it may be hard so youd be in with a good chance of a fast time, good luck.
I ran and ran until my Muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid, ....And then i ran some more.

A long stretch of the final run in has been re-surfaced since last year so that run in should be even faster.

Will be down there tonight helping out and cheering at the first bend

I'd forgotten just how much I enjoy this race. Thanks Andy and team for making it all happen again.

I have posted some photos at

    http://www.facebook.com/photo_search...4&id=721127180

Should be available for everyone to view even if you don't have a Facebook account.

Given the context of the race, does that second climb warrant a mention in the 'most lung busting ascent thread'?

Well done to Andy, superb organisation again.

Here's my photos - http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/GeoffB.../HerodFarm2010# - sorry if I missed you, the battery went flat! But that wasn't as bad as getting back to my bike to discover that the batteries in my front light were flat! Luckily a good chunk of my route home was off-road.

Wishful thinking - or just your brain starved of oxygen playing tricks on you.

I think Mrs Second to Last enjoyed the change, standing with Geoff B cheering people on, instead of racing up the hill
