[QUOTE=TurboTom;242791]Much much better than the old ones. Heel cup modified no more blisters.[QUOTE]

    Also from TT:

steam the heel. It works....Are you sure TT

its still worth it. i didnt last night and i nhave a small blister but at least it can be altered...Ah..didnt think so

mine lasted 11 months...well done you must be pleased

i dont run that much though. I much prefer training on the track or road for speed. So i probably do 20 miles a week in my fell shoes tops....The truth will out

They are basically porno so i might keep them to look at on those cold lonely nights...Stop the bus i want to get off

now stop the flannel TT...or at least be consistent in what you post....consider yourself Slippered

Looking at the times you posted I think you may not be getting enough sleep . Probably why you ended up on your soap box at 01:00 this morning

It made me chuckle the e numbers comment

Lack of sleep is a a result of having man flu, wife doesnt understand how us men suffer.

So would man swine flu be Boar flu

although i've commented on TT...i have nothing against Inov8...such that i have owned a few pairs over the years, and have found the ones that suit my feet i.e.

    Mudroc (grey)
    Flyroc
    Mudclaw (grey)
    X-talon
    roclite (red)

    All great

    Mudroc (green)
    Mudclaw (Orange)..even after heel steaming

    not so good

however 2 (bad) from 7 equals a 72% success rate

Ha Ha , "wild boar flu"

I've had same experience with the inov8s I've bought . Some fantastic , others not so . If I'd have had more technical knowledge about the products I would probably only bought the ones to suit me .

If only we all had standard shaped feet . It would make it so much easier for shoe designers

    > We make our shoes with different fits, different rubber compounds and cushioning so the customer has the widest choice.

But this isn't actually true, though, is it? Your range offers customers who have standard width feet lots of choice. If you genuinely want to offer "Precise fit" you'd do width fittings.

No other manufacturers do this either, as far as I can tell - I grieve the loss of RX Terrains - and it may not make economic sense. So this isn't really a criticism of your range, specifically. It is, though, a criticism of the hype that surrounds your products. Surely your argument that fell runners can meet lots of different terrain on the same run (true) and that people vary in foot shape (also true) would point towards a small range of shoes in a wide range of sizes?

We do currently offer 2 unisex lasts and a Womens specific.
Performance last (Precise fitting last ensures minimal internal movement when contouring, ascending and descending)
Endurance last(Generous fitting last offering a comfortable fit. Ideal Comfort for training and log distances.)
    Hence 2 different fits.
You can then alter the fit by either removing the 6mm footbed or replace with 3mm or a combination of both.

That said we are looking at making 2 new lasts, one narrower than our Performance and a wider one which will be more generous than our Endurance. This is in the pipeline so im sorry we cant say to you that its available just yet.
To make a last set is very expensive and that is why most companies dont bother.
Fellrunning for a lot of brands is a fringe sport that will not generate enough return for the investment.
    We are on with it

All the information is on the inov8 web site when you have a good dig round .

It maybe worth simpyfying the site to make it more obvious about fit .

Us humans are very good at looking at the pictures . Seeing the ones we like and buying the wrong ones because their a nice colour and we didn't read the information properly .

    Only an idea
