Tattenhall Runners are 8 miles south of Chester. We have members who live in Nantwich who pop up the A41 to run with us so it's not too far for you.
We have a strong fell section for a small club and have weekends away in the hills staying in various huts. We always get a team in for the relays too. Have a look at us at www.tattenhallrunners.com
We run in the Peckforton Hills during the summer which are more trail than fell, but i defy any fellrunners to actually run our 100m 'railway' climb - so there's good local training that will help you on the fells.
6 of us have just done a cracking weekend's running in the lakes, with a 2 and bit day completion of the Bob Graham (in readiness for my round in June) so you'll find plenty of fellrunners who are up for some good long runs.
We even have our own bar!
