    Rusland show

I'm thinking of going up to this tomorrow with a couple of kids. Never been before and am a bit confused about there being a Rusland 5 race and a shorter senior race. Is the shorter one the old guides race?

What's it like and which race should I choose?

Just in case anyone else goes next year!

This is a great little Cumbrian sports and show just south of Grizedale Forest. I ended up doing both races, in common with a number of other people.

The first race is a 5 miler partly on rough tracks and then fell side, mostly runnable. The second is a much shorter race that climbs a nearby knoll, I couldn't run it all. Small fields for both.

Also handicapped track races entry on day.

I did it and i enjoyed it.Not done a fell race for twenty years and only started running again 10 month ago. I would say it's a good starter the 5 mile race.

This is true i did say that.

It was the most knackered i have been in my life ever.

It will have to be a baby fell race with little hills.

I'm looking for another to enter but think i will have to train a little harder.

I was stuffing my face the night before with beer and chocolate don't think this helped .
