    Cut off times

As a slower , much slower, runner, i enjoy the races and would enter more but i know there are cut off times in some. I can't find them on the various websites and would like to know if i can make it. don't mind coming last but don't want a wasted race or waste other folks time. Any ideas , suggestion s, anyone?

    Re: Cut off times

I haven't been in a race with a cut off yet, but I'm sure any such race will advertise it prominently either in the handbook or on the race website. Only in the long races like Edale.

I always check the previous results if I can to see where i would have finished before. I don't mind the idea of finishing last, but I would hate to keep marshalls hanging around for ages.

I don't know what the cut off time is at Rivington Pike but I've never made it.

Enter one of my events I organise/marshal at and as long as you are travelling in a straight line and not staggering too much, then we wait for all!!
