Sunday's trot from Ingleton

Alf and maybe Southernsoftie, just to let you know that i'm still on to run a 15 and a bit miler out of Ingleton on Sunday morning, meeting at 8:30 at the top of 'down town' Ingleton. Its a lovely route up one side of Ingleton waterfall walk and then straight up the south~north ridge line of Whernside all the way to the trig. Then we cross the valley and go up Ingleborough before hacking back into Ingleton to finish. Don't worry if you can't make it as I'll be doing it anyway. Think in terms of the run taking 3 hours.

Anyone else feel free to come along

Well that was excellent run if a tad misty, damp and cold. Thanks very much for the company Alf and Southernsoftie.

Cheers for that Stolly, was a lovely run, despite the weather. Most climbing in one run since I came back from injury, but didn't feel it.

T'was a good morning, capped off by a walker outside the climbers' cafe talking into his phone: "I'm going to have to go as I'm getting rained on quite heavily." It was what could at best be decribed as a medium drizzle. Drew a cocked eyebrow from Stolly & myself as we were getting changed out of our running gear by the cars.

Great to run with you two again.

Yes thanks for the morning run out Stolly and SS. The weather wasn't the best we could have asked for but at least we didn't lose any time enjoying the views I certainly felt the run in my legs this morning.

Weather looks just as shit as it was in Nidderdale, that walker needs to have a word with himself, the weekend before the Grisedale H/S i went to recce it and it was wild. Gusts up to 80mph and persistent heavy rain, still took striding edge though. Bad clothing choice though-jeans...
