    Looks great... where were you?

    Swam a couple of weekends ago in Dorset..beautiful, and as I'm normally used to swimming in arctic Welsh water, the south coast water seemed to be the temperature of bath water!

    I swam off a georgeous beach in Skye in July; it was just like the carribean in that the sea was crystal clear, stunningly aqua marine under a sunny sky with beautiful white sand below. The temperature was something else though and there were quite a few of those little see through (and harmless) jelly fish milling about.

    Sounds lovely

    It wasn't the jellies I was concerned about - although I wouldn't want to meet a huge stingy one such as we get down here from time to time! The weeds are much more scary; could get tangled up in those!!!

    I got stung by one in Cuba. A couple of tentacles got stuck under my watch strap. Stung a bit.

    There were some quite warm bits off Teignmouth tonight.

    Perhaps that was where Stef had weeed?
