    Christopher Leigh's drug crazed two wheel friends ride past my house in Bentham on Tuesday on the 4th stage from Blackpool but I will be in work in Kendal so will miss it. bah!!

    Unfortunately Its all Ooop North or Down in that there West Cooounntry this year so won't be able to watch it

    ITV4 have good coverage though.

    Waddington Fell for me tomorrow I think. Its just about the nearest they come to us.

    They cycle up the Kilimanjaro of the North that is ... wait for it... drum roll... Gun Hill on Wednesday as part of stage 5. This is the one that I did as a sponsored ride a few weekends ago. I expect them to be slightly faster than I was, and also that there will be fewer people getting off to push.

    i watched it yesterday at broughton cross just outside preston - then i cycled part of the route! you could tell they had been there as the road was littered with empty gel wrappers. but i was quite surprised to see loads of cigarette packets and cans of stella too by the side of the road - these tour of britain cyclists are blumming fit boys- to manage to cycle 190 odd km and smoke fags and drink beer while they are doing it. wow
