Just wondering as Calder Valley is in Yorkshire but there are a few rossendale lads at my college who were telling me about it and said some runners come from further away

I think you have to be a member of an affiliated club, but I do remember runners marked down as 'guest' so maybe you will be able to run. Email the midlancs contact and ask them.

Sure you can run as a 'guest'.
You just turn up and register on the day - same for the Red Rose XC as well which might be closer for you.
