    Value cycle clothing

Just a heads up, if we've got anyone interested.
Aldi has its cycling gear coming in again this Thursday. I've had quite a bit in the past and in my experience its been more than satisfactory. I've used stuff like the jackets and shirts for running in winter. I like the cycling idea of the pockets at the back

Don't buy the cycling shorts - they're generally reviewed as being shockingly awful!

Not tried the shorts. Everything I've bought I've tried on in store. The one complaint I have heard occassionally is about zips in the jackets and shirts. But those complaining said they didn't try them instore, and if they took them back they had no problems.

My stuffs been going strong for 3 years, some bits having 2 winters of cycle commuting.

Bust the zip in my aldi jacket, took me ages to sew it up but it works a treat and now there's nowt to break on it. (Might still but another one on Thursday though).

I bought a s/s shirt, mitts and shorts a few years back... The shorts are awful, the shirt is still going strong, the mitts were crap...

Didn't like the waterproofs but the winter jacket is great fifteen quid. Overshoes and hat looked a bit crap so didn't bother
