    West Midlands Running

I'm living out of the Ramada in Wolverhampton Mon-Thurs night for the next two weeks (21/09-02/10).

Anyone know of any races happening then, or club runs I can tag along with, decent routes, or want to meet up for a run?

    Holla.

Was in Wolverhampton over the weekend - visiting aged parent - only run was along the canal from the city centre to Tettenhall down the 21 locks - in my younger day an area to be seriously avoided but now very pleasant and rural.

When I lived in W'ton, running wasn't big on the agenda so no brilliant other ideas - sorry!

Im guessing you're just up during the weekdays otherwise I'd suggest you take a trip out to the Wrekin for a run (about 30 mls from Wolves). Its easily accessible if you have a car (J7 M54).
Looks like Wolves & Bilston have a group running from Aldersley Stadium 6.30 Tues & Thurs, but I don't know what they're like. The Dudley Kingswinword runners are a good bunch but thats a few miles away. Soz I can't be more help..

    Re: West Midlands Running

Cheers guys. I've found an 11mi x-country run from the Garmin Connect site - downloaded to me Garmin. Might be interesting.

Will have a look at the Wrekin - might be able to make a trip out that way and Dudey ain't too far away, so might look at the club's site and see what's occurring.

    Keep the ideas coming.
