    ESFRC on BBC Sportsround

A presenter from CBBC's Sportsound should be competing in one of the races at the ESFRC in Sedbergh.

They are coming to do a feature on the race. They will be shown round the course by an experienced fellrunner, and will then attempt to complete one of the courses.

Other competitors are likely to be interviewed and filmed for the programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for fell running to be shown off on national TV.

Let's hope for good - or failing that - atmospheric weather.

You have to enter the ESFRC through your school. However, some schools are not able to enter their pupils, so we allow them to enter themselves. You must provide you school details in order to enter.

    Cash would be OK.

    This may sound stupid,
but if you have left school and got a job, can you compete at this race?

    School Championships

I believe you have to be in full time education to compete.
    School or FE College usually.

Not bad for a 2 minute 'vision bite'.
Well done Mel; you make a better presenter as well as runner.

I thought it mocked the sport to be honest and was disappointed especially having got up early on a Sat to see it
