Mountain Marathons 2010

Starting to do a bit of planning for 2010 MMs. I fancy the Highlander - a first for me, but Tyke enjoyed in this year. Can't do the LAMM as it's going to clash with a family trip to Skye. Definitely want to do the Saunders again, as we've had a good time the last 2 years. We're doing the OMM this year, to make up for last year's debacle, but it's a bit too big, so I quite fancy the Mountain Navigation Challenge instead for 2010. Anyone done this one? And, does anyone know when it's likely to be in 2010, or when they are likely to announce a date? It seems to move around between May and August, so that makes it a bit tricky to plan around!

Bad luck - I take it that's your shoulder still o/s? Forgot to mention the Rab. Really enjoyed it last year but it's run the weekend between 2 ultras, so that's ruled out for me. Pity, because it was really good in 2008 back of Skiddaw. Much smaller than the SLMM or the OMM, & better for it.

I was at the Docs this morning, she recons it could be months! Talked to a couple of fellas at the last race i did, one said the fellsman was good, the other said, never again! Sounds like a good challenge. Bit sick of bikes at the mo.
