Thanks Pete. After the the first mile, uphill through the forestry, I really enjoyed the race. A little bit of everything including a surprise rocky descent. With all the twists and turns, and never really being to see a long way ahead, there were plenty of those, shit, have I gone the wrong way moments, until a piece of red and white tape or a marshal appeared to save the day.

Was pleased to get 1st M60 and even more pleased to find myself as 6th overall in Welsh Champs and 2nd M60 behind quick Vic Belshaw.

Sort of tried to look out for you PeteS but not knowing what you looked like failed miserably. I have now seen a photo of you from the race so will hopefully say hello next time.

A brilliant return for the year's work!
