    Tis a good ad...

    These shoes are reviewed in Trail this month. They seem OK, but are a quite heavy at 820g a pair. They're billed as an eco shoe with 50% recycled sole.

    I used to work for Timberland many years ago and my first Trail shoes were Timberlands. They were OK (especially as I got them dirt cheap!), and got me into off-road running, but that was before I discovered proper running shoes rather than a fashion shoe that tries to be a running shoe

    There are a few different versions of the advert, designed for different markets.

    In the version filmed for the Alaskan market, he's chasing the animals. The end scene shows him roasting cuts of meat on a camp fire.
