    Landscape Photo of the Year

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/8314105.stm (6th one in)

Kilnsey Show (apparantly; I've never run it)

Some good fotes, if seemingly a little photoshopped.

A little! I'm no photography expert, but some of them look like about three different shots stuck together. I guess that's not considered cheating then?

Looks like a few have been done using HDR technique which I have been having a play with lateley (although a bit tricky when you don't have a DSLR that shoots RAW!). Have a Google for HDR galleries and look at the pics - they are fantastic (IMO). Would certainly not class it as cheating - lot's more work and effort involved to get the final image.

Like putting a tatty old shopping trolly and a dry ice effect in the foreground of your picture of a city at night........ That ones totally crap I think, no matter how clever.
