Ok Hopey, I'll be there soon after 9:30 to enter - hopefully get to meet you and Emmilou (and anyone else on here from Lostock!)

So how did you all do then? Certainly a hard course with the undulations, no major hills though - that one after 4 miles wasn't as bad as some people said it would be. Times certainly slow... I've run 10K faster than todays time in the last few weeks!
Congratulations to Lostock AC for putting on such a successful event - organisation was excellent with a very good field.

Calf - saw you whizz by at the finish but didn't get chance to say HI!!!

Notintafells - I believe we chatted a few times but weren't formally introduced!!!

glad you 'enjoyed' it! I was thawed out by about teatime - didn't think it was as cold as it was if I'd known I'd have put me thermals on

Balls would have been nice to have a natter!

    Where were you stood?

It was definitly chilly. Didn't realise till I was walking back to the car!

I was planning on going out on my bike for an hour in the afternoon but the wind and chill put me off

    Went to the pub instead

I was on carpark duty down the lane the race finishes from half 9, then was the first marshall at the start - stopping traffic, then back to the finish and was directing you lot onto the pavement near the finish post!!

    glad you 'enjoyed' it!!!
